JAE appeal, anyone?
Has anyone thought of appealing into other JCs or poly courses after the release of the JAE posting results?
I've decided to appeal into Pioneer JC(Arts) because I realised that Innova JC doesn't offer H2 China Studies in English(CSE) which I want to take up instead of H2 Lit.
Life In VJC
Being a student at VJC is more than just donning a uniform. It’s about becoming part of a bigger fraternity and a broader shared experience. We exult in one another’s triumphs, comfort one another when in doubt, and cheer like mad for one another’s endeavours. The college sizzles with ongoing activities, as well as new CCAs and other trailblazing activities initiated by students. We’re a college that likes to explore different ways for students to have fun, and also to prepare them to go all the way in whatever field they excel in. In particular, we believe in developing a sense of global-mindedness in every student. Beyond the classroom, we challenge students to dig deep and get their hands dirty in engaging with real-world issues, both locally and overseas.

Have you got what it takes to be a VJC student? We're on the lookout for students who are excited by the curriculum we have to offer and who can bring that extra lemon zest to our student body. A strong academic record is important, but we're also keen on talented and passionate individuals who've taken a leap out of the box and pushed the boundaries in their particular fields.
We have 2 courses of study, both leading to the GCE 'A' Level examinations.
* 2-year 'A' Level Programme - For students who wish to pursue a Science or Arts course leading to the GCE 'A' Level examinations. This programme is opened to students who have just completed their GCE 'O' Level examinations or completed Secondary 4 equivalents in local or international schools.
* 4-year Victoria Integrated Programme (VIP) - For students who have completed Secondary 2. Bypassing the GCE 'O' Level examinations, VIP students enjoy the breadth and enrichment of an exciting curriculum, devised by VJC, that challenges them to chart their own learning. In the third year, the VIP dovetails with the GCE 'A' Level curriculum and students sit for the GCE 'A' Level examinations at the end of the 4-year programme.
Depending on which course of study you're applying to and what achievements and talents you bring to the table, you can apply to join VJC through one of the following admission exercises.
* VIP Admission - for Secondary 2 students applying for the 4-year Victoria Integrated Programme.
* Direct School Admission - for Secondary 4 students applying for the 'A' Level Programme based on talents, before taking their GCE 'O' Level examinations.
* Joint Admission Exercise - for Secondary 4 students applying for the 'A' Level Programme after taking their GCE 'O' Level examinations.
* 'A' Level Programme Admission - for students without GCE 'O' Level examinations results or International students or Returning Singaporeans who have completed a course of study equivalent to Secondary 4, applying for the 'A' Level Programme.
